A website with somewhere useful to go.
The job of a small-business website is to answer the questions people have before they call, book or send a message. It should work just as well in a pocket as on a desktop.
Make the next step obvious
A focused landing page
When there is one service to explain, start with its offer, evidence, common objections and a clear next step. Avoid sending people through unnecessary pages.
A multi-page service website
When there are multiple audiences or offerings, give each a useful route. Introduce what you do, where you operate, how the process works and how people can reach you.
What gets considered
- Content hierarchy. A visitor can find the relevant service without digging through decoration.
- Mobile clarity. Navigation, phone links and enquiry actions make sense on smaller screens.
- Forms that ask enough. Collect useful project details without turning contact into paperwork.
- Search foundations. Clear page titles, semantic headings, working internal links and content written for the right audience.
- Ownership and handover. Hosting, domain, source files and updates are agreed rather than left as surprises.
Original work, not stock credibility.
Our Plexius website is a live example of a very different audience: a Minecraft community. It demonstrates how the experience should fit the people using it. The bakery work on our homepage is an uncommissioned concept study, labelled accordingly.
Before starting
Do I need to write the content?
The lower-priced packages assume that you can provide the essential text, images and direction. Copy support can be quoted separately.
What if I need a booking system?
That depends on the booking rules and platform. A simple enquiry can remain a form; an integrated booking workflow needs a separate scope.
How much does a site cost?
Published starting prices are £250 for a single-page site and £550 for a small multi-page website. Full scope determines the quote. View pricing
Have a project in mind?
Share what the website needs to do, and we can work out a sensible scope.
